Wayne Rainey is upset that his win wasn't countedThe World Championship circus moved to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit for round 10 of the 89 World series.
Wayne Rainey (Yamaha) was on the pace in practice as he set out to improve his lead over Eddie Lawson (Honda). John Kocinski made his debut at Spa and was hoping to have the same impact in the class as he did in the 250 earlier this season.
The 250 race itself provided yet another classic. Sito Pons' runs of success had come to a halt at Assen, and victor Reinhold Roth was out to prove he could do it again. We capture all the excitement of an eventful day's racing for your entertainment.
