A small group of racers dominated the motorcycle Grand Prix World Championship during the ultra-competitive era of the late 1980s and early 1990s; they are the Bike Heroes. Out of 127 Grands Prix starts Eddie Lawson managed to score an astonishing 78 podium finishes and four World Championships. Nis nickname 'Steady Eddie' came from making so few mistakes - not through a lack of pace! This film follows Eddie's career from his GP debut in '83 through his four World Championships with Yamaha and Honda and on to his 1992 Cagiva swansong. Featuring interviews and bucket-loads of all-out '80s two-stroke action this is an adrenaline pumping period documentary of one of motorcycle racing's all-time greats.
