When, in 1988 the Castrol Jaguars won the Daytona 24 Hours, it was the prelude to a magnificent season which saw Silk-Cut Jaguars win at Le Mans and Martin Brundle finish up as World Champion. 1989 was a disappointment for both the Castrol and Silk-Cut teams but the TWR prepared cars entered Daytona 1990 determined to be as successful as 1988 was. As it’s now known, the Castrol Jaguars dominated the race. To get the full story of the event, winner Andy Wallace and second placed man Martin Brundle commentate on this video and with music by Dire Straits, it is a great souvenir of a great victory.
